Susan is a lecturer in Communication, Media, and Gender Studies at both the University of Nairobi and Presbyterian University of East Africa. She recently completed a PhD in Communication and Information Studies from the University of Nairobi and holds a master’s degree from the same university. She is a Next Gen Dissertation Research and Completion Fellow, a 2022 awardee of the British Institute in Eastern Africa Thematic grant. Her research interests focus on the intersections of media, culture, and gender dynamics.
